So I wanted to post some pictures of some additional Team Fortress costumes that I found around the net from Halloween, but instead I find myself in a different mental spot. I don't much feel like writing about the costumes right now since its 1:45am and I am stuck in the Harrisburg, PA airport baggage area. Sigh...
Today was supposed to be a fun flight to the Baltimore, MD area where I am to interview with ZeniMax Online for a spot on their new MMO (whatever it happens to be). By the way, quick detour...why do so many no-name companies hide their no-name IPs from everyone. It kinda bugs me. I once interviewed for a company that wouldn't tell me what the project was because it was soooo secret that no one could know until they had signed the offer letter. Yeah right, great way to build a team. Anyway, I didn't take that particular job.
Back from the detour, I flew out of SFO this afternoon and headed off to Philly. The ride was a bit scary for about 20 min as we hit some big turbulence. Scared the hell outa me as I never have really been through any like that. I looked out at the wing from my seat and it was flopping around like it was going to fall off. That leg of my journey done, I hopped on my connecting flight and then the fog rolled in. No landing in Baltimore when we got there. No returning to Philly cause the fog hit Philly by the time we flew back. Closest place that was not fogged in was Harrisburg, PA. The bus is on it's way to pick us up apparently...in 40 min. So I get to take a bus to Baltimore. Here is the irony...I will be driving past my exit for ZeniMax Online. Yay...I get to backtrack to Hunts Valley at 5 in the morning for what will amount to probably an hour of sleep, a 2.5 hour interview and then back home.
Anyway, I can't be mad...its "the rub of the green." I'm just a bit tired and my eye is twitching again.
